Vpa has been closed for a while, guys   in slo are the only shop to take your 914 to for work. They have servied my 911,356,& 944. Don't go to Bavarian autohause or the Porsche mechanic near lower higuera, also stay away from german engineering in Santa maria.good luck

Gary,
My recommendations are VPA in San Luis Obispo or Guy's. Both very good,
integrity is high.

Subject: help for my 914

I am a new owner of a 1972 914. I need to know the best shop in this
area to get it tuned up. Seems to run rich and smokes? Thank you, Gary
