There is another sentence (underlined below) again made up exclusively of repeated words:
Mother: Don't forget to do your homework.
Daughter: I've already done it.
Mother: That's great. Oh, will you pick up your little brother?
He's at Aunt Peg's house.
Daughter: Sure, I'll pick him up.
What will the 'normal' intonation pattern of the above be like?
Incidentally, the dialog is an excerpt from one of the English textbooks for junior high schools, authorized by the Ministry of Education and Science here in Japan. I'd appreciate comments from you. Thank you in advance.
