FROM THE EDITOR’S DESK:
I’m in a circle. Nearly everyone in the circle is going forward. I am
in the part of the circle that means I am walking backward. I am looking
inside, into the circle. There is a baby in the circle across from me.
I dreamt this in March, 2004, about the time of the San Francisco
People’s Inquiry into 9/11. I had prepared an extensive investigative
report on the 9/11 Commission, dubbed the Cover-up Commission. The
accompanying diagram showing the commissioners’ conflicts has come to be
known as the Spaghetti Diagram.
As a journalist, I was caught up unraveling and uncovering the deceit of
the commissioners, who have connections to oil interests, much to lose
personally and professionally if they step out of line, and
blackmailable items in their backgrounds. It was the story under the
story, the kind of story I love to investigate and write.
The camaraderie and passion of the 9/11 activists, researchers, and
journalists, especially in the Bay Area, prodded us all to pursue the
true story of 9/11 and disseminate the information at conferences,
on-line, in our own publications.
However, this kind of investigation requires substantial funding. And,
pursuing this complicated and complex story replaced my working on
dreams, mine and others, and reporting how these dreams are
consciousness bridges and stepping stones to the truth.
These dreams told of the Bush gang’s theft of the 2000 election and
elements of the U.S. government masterminding 9/11. I have reported some
of these dreams in this newsletter since 2002 and spoken about them at
press conferences, on radio interviews, and to anyone who will listen.
However, this dream was clearly telling me that traditional reporting
was going backwards for ME. The others’ were advancing their agenda. The
others’ were better equipped to put forth the details of the story and
advance their cause.
I was, however, going backwards to a mode of reporting that I had found
less than productive in changing the course of political and social
events 20 years before. I had come to believe that in addition to
supplying information we must also change consciousness. We need to
change consciousness so that when we meet the facts, we will know it,
get it, and dig and dig until we have no choice but to do something
positive with that information.
They key: wedding truth and consciousness. My role: to help raise a
sense of awareness of our own inner guidance so that when consciousness
meets the facts a spiritual activist is born. Is that the baby across
from me in the circle dream?
Since 9/11, my friends and my colleagues in the media who shut down when
presented with information about 9/11 have stunned me. I could see that
40 years after the Kennedy assassination the debate about what really
happened still rages.
A student at a teach-in on 9/11 at San Francisco State University
several years ago asked: “Why should attempts to report on 9/11 be any
different than attempts to report the Kennedy’s assassination?”
At an anniversary teach-in in Oakland , one man in the audience, his
voice breaking, cried, “How can we still be asking questions about 9/11,
when we already know so much? It’s immoral.” And that was two years ago.
So, now, in perhaps an 11th hour attempt to follow that Circle dream
guidance, to restore balance in my “reporting” and my professional work,
I am shifting my emphasis to Inner Journalism. I have redesigned my
website to focus on dreams. Joycelynn.com (joycelynn dot com) will put
you there; so will plumdreams.com (plumdreams dot com). I have culled
the political dreams from past issues of POLITICAL DIARY into a series
of dreams under Plum Dreams on the site. Soon, the site will also have
educational dream information for well-being, relationships, and
self-expression to help provide you with resources to use dreams for
personal and planetary change. The former often needs to precede or
accompany the latter.
I compiled those political dreams into a booklet and handed out copies
at the Freepress media reform conference in St. Louis in May. The
booklet is the precursor of “FRANKENBUSH: Inside Sources Reveal How a
Texas Cowboy and His Cabal Stole the White House and the World while You
Were Shopping.” The book will be published this 9/11.
On the new website, there is a community forum, where you can post your
political dreams, thoughts, tips, and information.
And, I am urging everyone to take INNER JOURNALIST: Using Dream Guidance

We know that looking to the mainstream media, even the progressive
media, which continue to foster the myth of international fundamentalism
terrorism, is a mistake. We certainly know that writing your congress
person is a cliche.
We must each become our own journalist, uncovering the truth for our
own speciality and finding the truth for the international political
scene. We must each become an activist, finding within the answer to
the perennial question, “What can I do?” After you take this course, you
will know.
In this way, we can ameliorate the overwhelming feelings of hopelessness
and helplessness we feel in the face of what we are facing.
It took me awhile, but I am stepping out of the circle and following my
dreams. If you are going backward while others in your circle are going
forward, I urge you to step out, too, so that we and the world may all
go forward.

Rep. John Conyers of Michigan, ranking Democratic member of the House
Judiciary Committee, told a hearing on the Downing Street memos June 16,
“The problem with media in the U.S. is it is intimated and seduced and
brought under the thrall (sic) of this administration as no other time
in my 40 years in Congress.”

Editors at numerous news outlets maintained they were waiting for the
Associated Press to write about the Downing Street minutes! Until the
AP acted, it was not a significant story. Remember, the 2004 election
vote counts were filtered through the same AP.

A reader sent me an article on satanic cults and Bush family
connections. As I was reading the article, I felt a terrible pain in my
neck. Loud warning. Watch out for this article. The sender gave me a
deductive argument about how it could be true. I responded there is much
disinformation in order to discredit certain movements.
We need to develop our inner radar to discern what is false and what is
true.
Turn off your TV. Listen to your intuition. Trust the truth. INNER

Remember that even the brouhaha about the Downing Street memos and the
administration fabricating evidence of weapons of mass destruction in
order to attack Iraq -- the nexus of wmd and terrorism -- is missing the
point. The war on terrorism is as fabricated as Saddam having weapons of
mass destruction.

Many progressive/left advocacy groups and news outlets are gatekeepers,
too.
I felt great sadness as I attended a workshop at the Freepress media
reform conference in St. Louis in May, listening to members of the
audience bemoan how Moveon.org and the Democrats dropped the ball
opposing the war in Iraq. My emotions deepened as their spokespeople
tried to defend how they were only serving the desires of their minions
of millions. And, there was no mention from the podium about 9/11 and
media coverage about it. All this at a conference on media reform.
Randi Rhodes told a listener who called her Air America show last spring
questioning the “official” 9/11 story: “I can’t go there. I have a radio
show to do.”
Here’s what one interested party wrote me recently about “news in
America.”
“The word ‘news’ in America has nothing to do with the definition of the
word ‘news’ in the dictionary. Didn't you know that? All we have is a
propaganda machine.
“Did you ever wonder why U.S. networks still run millions of hours of
useless ‘soap operas’ during the daytime hours when that valuable
resource could be used as a public educational resource. These airways
are being held captive by the elite to denigrate Americans.
“Television is among the most powerful medium, if not the most powerful,
and it has been wasted for decades. Actually it has been made to keep
most Americans dumb and in the dark for decades. Did you ever think of
that? . .
“Did you also know how talk radio is monitored? Talk radio hosts are
given general guidelines about what not to talk about. They are told,
‘Do not spread unsubstantiated rumors.’ They are told that if it is not
a topic of the main stream media they are not to talk about it without
prior approval. Then after every show their producers must write a
detailed list of all the topics discussed on the show. This is important
because many of these shows do allow callers to the show and the upper
management wants the host of the show to know they are being carefully
monitored.

Michael Hasty, in a September 24, 2004 commentary in Online Journal,
called the American media “the finely-tuned propaganda organs of the
military-industrial complex.”
He mentions “what happened in Dallas in November 1963,” and then writes,
“The dark thread of secret agendas and unspeakable acts that runs like a
subterranean stream through the last half-century of American
history—and which has turned into a river under this most secretive of
presidential administrations —would not have been possible without the
outright cooperation of the media.”
In “Tales from the Crypt The Depraved Spies and Moguls of the CIA's
Operation MOCKINGBIRD,” Alex Constantine wrote that in the late 1940s,
the most frigid period of the cold war, the CIA began a systematic
infiltration of the corporate media, a process that often included
direct takeover of major news outlets.”

Another media commentator explained that the right-wing agenda for the
past several decades was building a media infrastructure while the left
put its time and energy into grass-roots organizing.
We cannot wait until truth seekers control the mainstream/establishment
media. We must become our own journalists.

Dreams during the 2000 election tipped off a number of colleagues to the
election fraud that gave G.W. Bush the election. The news media danced
around the story.
Now you see why I am extending this special INNER JOURNALIST training

U.S. government operation. Others I’ve interviewed had similar dreams.

A social worker, who wanted to support Iraqi veterans, told me in a
telephone conversation she wanted to interview the solders when they
returned from combat. That night she dreamt that soldiers were coming
back in body bags. We talked again, and she decided to work with young
people BEFORE THEY ENLISTED. She wants to work with low-income potential
military recruitments she had worked with as a social worker.
Calling upon her dreams, she clarified her calling.
Your dreams can provide you with guidance about what to do in the face
of the well-oiled (pun intended) military-media machine that is
bulldozing through the world.

Commission Morphs, Continues Cover-up
The 9/11 Commission has morphed into the "9/11 Public Discourse
Project." Claiming that the security of the U.S. is “still in
shambles,”the 10 former commissioners are holding a series of eight
public hearings.
They launched the hearings June 6 as a spate of articles detailing
supposed security lapses hit the newspapers and airwaves.
Former 9/11 Commission chairman Thomas Kean announcing the reconstituted
commission, warned that terrorist attacks on American soil are
“imminent” so "we don't have much time left to act.”
The 10 commissioners founded a private group (www.9-11pdp.org) last
summer. They want to gather information from federal agencies about the
government's “recent performance in dealing with terrorist threats.”
The Commission report released last July perpetuates the official
government story of 19 Muslim terrorists carrying out the 9/11 attacks
under the tutelage of Osama bin Laden. The report released advocated
measures aimed at increasing police and intelligence agency powers.
The National Commission on Terrorist Attacks Upon the United States’
report blamed incompetence and turf battles among the nation's
intelligence agencies, notably the C.I.A. and the F.B.I., prevented the
government from stopping the attacks of September 11, 2001.
Evidence compiled by independent researchers and journalists points to
9/11 as “an inside job” carried out by elements of the U.S. government

POLITICAL DIARY dubbed the 9/11 Commission “the Cover-up Commission”
because of the whitewash of its 9/11 “investigation.”
The reconstituted “project” is another charade in which the commission
is a stalking horse for the Bush administration and for the national
security state.
Several private foundations, including the Carnegie Corporation of New
York, are underwriting the 9/11 Public Discourse Project.
In another blatant example of the comprising connections of
commissioners and its staff, former 9/11 Commission staff director
Philip Zelikow is now working for Condoleezza Rice at the State
Department as “Counselor of the Department of State.” Announcing the
appointment last February, the State Department press release noted,
“... Dr. Zelikow will serve as a senior policy advisor on a wide range
of issues and will undertake special assignments as directed by the
Secretary.”
Rice was G.W. Bush’s National Security Advisor at the time of 9/11. She
appeared before the commission to testify about Bush administration
foreknowledge of 9/11.
