PRACTICE TIPS #66: Write a Prescription
=======================================
Arzu Oklu (aok-@hotmail.com) recently contributed this interesting
practice tip to my online practice page:
"At the end of each day's piano study session, I
believe that it is quite useful to make a
brief 'prescription' for the next day's study.
That is short list of problematic points to be
resolved for the next day. In my opinion, small
notes like '20 times staccato for that section
and then legato', 'ladder-up metronome for this
section' helps you concentrate right away on the
problematic points in your next session."
Happy practicing!

PRACTICE TIPS is by pianist, teacher, composer, and internet nerd
Brent Hugh. Brent knows about practicing mostly because he *does*
it, and in fact is toddling off to do some of it just about now . . .
Please remember that this tip is but a small white hair near the
elephant's left eyelid--it's not even close to the whole
elephant that is "how everyone in the whole world should practice
the piano".
