Toronto's Deadmau5 is playing here in SF, at Mighty... this is very exciting, and let me tell you why: Every DJ I know has been flipping out for this man's tracks since this spring (the moniker is pronounced "deadmaus")... ever since his remix of Carbon Community & Burufunk's "Community Funk" hit in March, his rise has been unstoppable, putting out one bestselling track after another and ripping dancefloors apart. He's the master of the crunchy electro-tech house sound, with a touch of progressive nuance, that is killing it right now. I'm honored playing at this show alongside my comrades Dex Stakker and MACE. You won't want to miss this one.
