Can you store any book that you own? Is this the same or similar model
as those shared music services that got chased out of businesses?

Hello, we just want to inform you about the new library project:

The OFFSYSTEM is a kind of distributed online library, you simple can
store any digital media into it. The storage is done by peers.

A reference model library is here:
or the gutenberg project here new:

The download of a book is done by so called OFF-Links like these

http means, you can read it in any browser (if the offsystem client is
running for localhost). This means, no media is ever lost, as all is
backupped in peers.

Please evaluate the new concept and please run by your institution as
well as a storage node and make a reference model page to host some
PDF-Books or other digital media and evaluate the usage of these Books
and Links by some students. As well the system offers a good analysis
project for some students diploma thesis.

Thanks for you interest and evaluation
Regards Tom.
