 Oct 29, 2006 22:26 PST

Dear Colleague,

A postdoctoral position is available in the W.M. Keck Computational
Materials Theory Center at California State University Northridge for
research in multiscale modeling of materials properties. The successful
candidate will be involved in the development and applications of a
DFT-based QC method (Phys. Rev. B 73, 024108 (2006)). The research is in
collaboration with both the Princeton Center for Complex Materials and
University of Minnesota. We are looking for candidates having strong
background in computational materials science. Prior experience with DFT
calculations is not required, but the familiarity with QC method is
strongly preferred.

The position will start immediately. Initial appointment is for one
year, renewable up to three years. Interested applicants should submit a
CV, a list of publications and names of reference to Prof. Gang Lu,
Department of Physics and Astronomy, California State University
Northridge, 18111 Nordhoff Street, Northridge, CA 91330-8268 or via
e-mail to: gan-@csun.edu. Applications will be reviewed as received
until the position is filled.

Best wishes,

Gang Lu
