I can't get at my manual. Does anyone know the output in amps of the
electrics of the standard Bullet 350 and from that figure what's the
maximium safe wattage that can be used on the system?

Dear John,

You sound as though you know what you're talking about! I've
ordered the butterfly bar and was thinking about mounting the lights
on it. I agree that I'd be better to run them from the battery. My
problem now is that I'm out of the UK for a month and I can't find a
source for the lights. I've looked everywhere on the internet. Any
ideas?

Bruce.

I think the key here is to get crashguards that are not too heavy
yet strong - hollow pipe??
    Do let us know....
As far as the lights go, you might have to use DC lights wired
directly from the battery
with a relay in between cos i'm not sure if the AC headlight
circuit can really power two more lights
maybe 30w bulbs for each light?? im guessing thats the safe
limit...
even this will be a drain on the battery if you do too much night
riding

I agree with Chris. I have a 500 Military and the crash bars
saved my

though, so there's
      no impact on the CG.

For extra security, but mainly because I hink it might look
good, I've been thinking about fitting a crash bar and a pair of
sidelights to a 350 Bullet Classic. Anyone with any advice?

        Thanks.
