Cant you get someone to register it in another state and ride it as if it was just visiting.
You will I suspect have to do all the repairs yourself as I doubt there are enough people interested to make a dealership viable.
Remember it is quite labour intensive keeping a Bullet on the road it requires weekly checking.
In the Uk petrol is equivalent to $10 a Uk gallon about $9 a US gallon.
It looks to be going to $12 by the School Holidays in August.
My Yaris car is more economical than the Bullet it can do 60 plus miles to the gallon in Comfort and with Four people and baggage.
The Bullet when thrashed does about the same mileage but with only me and limited luggage.
Hope you get your wish.

I may live in Southern California but we do have roads other than Freeways. Also, in trendy California the closer the gas gets to $5.00 the fewer SUVs are on the road. There was an article in the paper about how the scooter shops are al sold out.
IF the bike has 7,000 miles on it will I still need to change some of the smog setup to pass our stringent laws.
Most of the work I can do myself as far as parts I'll just have do deal with that. Many years ago I did ride a motorcycle from London to Scotland and back on the A and B roads it was a lot of fun.
