RE: truck  Nathan

i will be in reno saturday and available to load stuff from reno storage in the afternoon, then planning on going out to the playa sunday. in talking with Josh i've given to understand that there is an entire 15' uhaul truck amount of stuff in reno, including bikes. uhaul won't rent to burners for the week, so was considering getting a truck to load stuff out then returning it to reno. if a truck is coming from the west coast then a reno rental may not be necessary. however it would have to be a big one to fit all west coast and reno stuff. perhaps a west coast truck and a reno rental are in order.

Subject: truck

just wanted to make sure we were all on the same page about the truck. we
need one. asylum and the container are across the city, and we've got a
very, very dusty clutch of bikes and couches and chairs and foam and crap in
our storage space. nathan wrote me yesterday asking about the ability to
use RVs to transport this stuff, and i told him that was NOT a good idea.
have we nailed down the usage of a truck yet?

also, if someone could reply to this message on list i would know that
topica is actually working. i've got a nasty feeling this forum is broken.

A truck is definitely a necessity. If the truck were coming from say,
L.A., I could add to the mix a 330 gallon water container, approximately
1000 square feet of carpet for the dome, and there would be room for
Artur's mobile couch. I'm sure there are other L.A.-Reoirnet people with
large items to be transported to the playa. I don't mind renting the truck
in my name, but I can not foot the bill alone. Anyone with me?

-Glen
