i think we'd do the bikes on sunday. but we could potentially do two runs on
saturday. pick up the bikes and get them to a car wash, wherever, for nathan
et al to work on. then go get the water and head to the playa. then back at
the end of the day to pick up the bikes.

 seems to be coming together...

 i will fly into reno on friday morning, exact time still
tbd. pierre will
pick me up at the airport and we'll go get the reserved truck (about a mile
away at ryder/budget). then we'll go to scaffolding place and head to the
playa. perhaps we can even make a container run that evening, or maybe
saturday morning.

 saturday late morning i'll head back to reno and meet adeo
flying in. we'll
get the water and other stuff if it fits, then pick up his rv, and head back

to the playa to unload. again, perhaps a container run.

 sunday, back to reno and empire for bikes/treasuer/supplies,
etc and back to
playa. more container runs if still necessary. then that will hopefully be
it until wednesday or thursday supply run.

 monday or tuesday we'll pack stuff back to empire storage.
do we know if
they're open on monday (holiday)? truck needs to be back in reno on tuesday.

make sure you have enough time in reno to go rent the truck and be at
the scaffolding place before 2:30PM (both places can't be more than 1/2
hour apart).
let me know at what time you arrive in reno and i'll pick you up at the
airport.

having scaffolding delivered to the playa is a sweet notion but it
comes at a price. the best bid i got for having the scaffolding
delivered to the playa was $1800. we can save this expense if we use
the truck to get the scaffolding from reno to brc. this is how we could
do it (and how i did it last year):

- we rent the truck described by adeo (below). never mention that
you're going to bm. we broke one of their truck last year and they hate
us (me).
- we use that same truck to transport scaffolding to and from the playa
(we just need 1 person to drive the truck to reno and back, there are
warehouse guys over there that will load the scaffold on the truck),
transport bikes, go to storage in empire and container-to-camp
transportation. it would be great if we could take care of the scaffold
on friday 22 because brand scaffolding closes on saturday. who will be
in reno that day?
