Have NO idea if Mr. Auldridge reads much in here, but, I just had to reply:
Wow, thanks Mr. Auldridge! Really appreciate seein that chord layout for
Struttin.
Have loved that one, and ALL of your first two solo projects, since I first
heard them back in about '75 or so. They still get spin on a regular basis, and
I always hear something new, from either your reso work, or the others involved.
Tasty stuff . . .
Outside of Grisman, you were my first hit of newgrass back then. N I never HEARD
of NGRevival till the late 90's . . yes, I was a sheltered child, both then and
later in life . . . lol
Man, that 'newgrass' sure was/is kewl!!! Thanks for all the music.
All this Left Coast time since, I never saw you or the original Scene play. One
of my life's greatest losses, but man, I treasure the recordings!
Ya know, we got this GREAT lil music store, seats about 70 for house concerts,
in Sacramento . . . . . . N you KNOW I'm just kiddin.
But, If you should make it out this way for a public appearence, please let the
list know.
I might even go to 'Southern' CA if that's where you'd be, if I had to. ;-)

I've been fortunate to see Mr. Taylor long ago with Mr. Norman Blake. N Doc. At
some fest out here.
I've seen Mr. Douglas, Mr. Ickes, Mr. Cardine. Mr. Heffernan, too, in workshops
(great experience). Mr. Grant, of course! I love the variety and richness and
depth I have heard and seen from the few reso players I HAVE seen. Would love to
see so many more.
It truly is Golden, This Age Of Reso . . . thanks to all on this list, and
elsewhere, who make it so.
