Speaking of strange combos, at the end of September (30/9 and 01/10), I
get to be part of something different:
A friend is bringing Bob Livingston (formerly with Jerry Jeff, DAC and
ISTR he did a tour or two with Jimmy Buffett) to KC with his "Cowboys and
Indians" music. Fiddle, my dobro, a guitar and a tabla (possibly some
other pieces, I don't recall). No word on sitar.
I don't recall which club we're playing at Friday night (a benefit for
KKFI, the local community radio station), and behind the bars at Ft.
Leavenworth Saturday afternoon; they're supposed to be trying to arrange
something for Saturday night, too
