Mike, totally appreciate. Loaded your sequence into Band-in-the-Box and
tra-laa...I was a jammin', now to get it up to speed. What blows us all
away is that you're the one who invented the tune. from scratch, yet
it's all the rest of us can do just to try and figure it out. Another
example people may not be aware of...once upon a time I asked about the
special tuning of Mountain Slide, and you personally responded that the
6th string was dropped to E, and then proceeded with a long writeup of
why, and the benefits of getting a relative minor at the straight bar
position of the major chord, and why you chose the key change you did.
It's these inner thought processes that make us better appreciate what
you've created. Humm...once I bought a book of Ansel Adams which
described how he created all his individual works of photographic
art...I'd be first in line if Mike ever wrote up a booklet describing
the thought process and design behind some of his classics. Enough
rambling. thanks again Mike.
