Greetings,
I am sharing with everyone a book that "rocks" from an author whose
website I have designed. This promises to be one to remember for some
time. The book can be purchased at her website
http://www.boogiebooks.com
In her book entitled "Rising Ashes", Queen is first naive, joyful and
carefree. Struggles, disappointmens, physical and emotional abuse from
her involvement with the three men who fathered her son and two
daughters, caused her once exuberant spirit to grow callous. Although
she became filthy rich initially form managing her son's successful
singing career and later from her media empire, the torch of resentment
and bitterness towards the abusive men in her past burned fervently in
her heart. An unexpected encounter with the father of her first-born
lured her from religious roots taught by her father, igniting a ruthless
determination for retribution.
"Very intense! Keeps you on the edge, wondering what will happen next. I
am a single mother and can relate to this story. It should be a movie."
- Valree Jackson, Atlanta, Georgia
"Rising Ashes mirrors the Color Purple."
-Creative Arts Books
"As a male, I was surprised to experience the variation in emotion that
I did while reading this dramatic novel. It's an interesting page-turner
with intriguing characters. I would be interested to read a sequel to
this book." - Eric Campbell, Chanhassen, MN
