did you run as root ? during upgrading, did you see it stoplaw and
startlaw after finish upgrade ?

We are trying to upgrade our env 9.0.0.5 to 9.0.1 and while trying to
run the upgrade we get the foll. error:
File GEN/EXECUTABLE.
OpenDBFile2 error is Driver failed (54).
When we look at the lawson kb the resolution is to set the ORACLE_HOME
directory in /etc/lawson.env and $LAWDIR/gen/oracle. We have checked
both the places and they are the same and have been set.
Has anybody seen this error? How did you resolve this,
