RE: PR198 dup record  David Schronce

Umm.. While deleting the job, did anyone notice the large banner across
the jobschd screen that says "Deleting this job may corrupt your data" ?
It meant it.. The PR198 is designed to be RECOVERED, not RESTARTED.
The last time I saw one of these I ended up converting the output from a
PR140 run in detail mode into a properly formatted csv file so we could
make GL journal entries.. It was no fun, I assure you

I wish you luck!

Hi there,
While my compadre is working with Lawson slowly I thought I'd contact
you'all to see if you have any wisdon.

I came in the middle so I'm not clear the original cause but here
goes...
PR197 ran to completion then PR198 failed and no one noticed.
They then deleted it from the job quesu and have tried to rerun seveal
times. They have also reset a flag with Lqwsons help.
The last suggestion was to change the inserbufsize from 10 to 1 in a
file called ORACLE and rerun.
We did that and got the err
PRMONTIOR PMNSET1 duplicate record.

We're pretty desparate as this is payroll and Good Friday which means a
light staff.

Thanks for your time,
