2005 Twilight Dirt Criterium Series - Starts next Tuesday!	Mike Hecker

First let me apologize if you get this email more than once.

It's that time of year again, the 2005 Twilight Dirt Criterium Series at
Elings Park starts next Tuesday!

Racing will take place every Tuesday evening until August 30th! You can get
all the info here http://www.ridesb.com/nitecross.htm or using Acrobat you
can view the entry form here

training series with an overall prize list based on a point system, one
race, the lowest finish will be tossed out. As in past years we will have
food for all the racers from long time cycling support the Santa Barbara
Chicken Ranch after the racing action. There will be low key music (or
Dodger baseball) as well.

There are no late fees. But if you don't have a NORBA card you'll need a
one-day license every night. First time entry fee is $25, every additional
night is $15 per night of racing and you can pay as you race if you like.
However if you wish to save some money consider pre-reging for the entire
series of 6 weeks of racing for only $90, that's a deal, racing action and
dinner for 6 weeks for only $90!

A portion of EVERY entry fee goes to Elings Park as well as to pay for the
NORBA insurance, food and other necessities.

The racing action will start later this year to allow for more people to
attend, at 6:20 PM. We will try a format that we used at the last two races
last year and it seemed out fine of one race with everyone in it. It was
way fun last year for everyone who made it out there. So don't miss it. We
want to see the kids out there too, all you Juniors! This is a fun course
kind of like a big BMX track to those DH kids out there, come on out and
join us you'll have a great time, all Junior fees are half price!

The racecourse is the top portion of the XC Loop at Elings, complete
directions are on the entry form. If you have never been up there during a
sunset you're missing out! We will even have free kids racing after the
race, so bring the entire family!

This event is only made possible by our great sponsors: Hazard's, Clif Bar,
Coastal Tree Care, Kenda and Voler. Thank You!
