So you´re saying if I buy a tire in a different color I´m getting a weaker
tire?

Well that just plain sucks!
I was looking forward to being as good looking as my yellow wheeled
friends....

The black comes from carbon. Its main function is to make the tire stronger
and more wear resistant, so keep it black
