I just talked to Anthony Carpenter, UH. We are all watching IKE
carefully. A final decision will be made tomorrow (Thursday) whether
to cancel the race or not. While a little rain and mud is part of mtn
biking, we certainly don't want anyone out there in severe
weather/Tornados, etc.

U of H People --
What's the plan on making the call for the race this weekend with the
probability of the hurricane being an issue (dangerous weather, muddy
trails, etc)? Or alternatively, when do you plan to make the call
whether to go ahead with it or not? Since UT is giving serious
consideration to postponing the football game this weekend, I figure
there has to be at least some cause for concern.
