I am looking for any information about Company C 1st Separate Machine
Gun Battalion. I found a letter from my grandfather, Arthur H.DeBolt who
was a Marine in Company C. He says in the letter he was one of eighteen
survivors out of 250. He said he went over the top 3 times and was
wounded 3 times, but not so bad that he could take care of himself.
Any info would be appreciated.
