Sad news  AIDSRi-@aol.com

Hello Biker buddies,

I hope this finds you well, and the new year is starting off good for you.

I recently recieved some very sad news about an old friend and sponsor of
mine, Eric Drew. He has been recently diagnosed with a severe and rare form
of lukemia that generally kills in a few weeks. He stated to me that the
odds of his survival are not good. He is consulting specialists at Stanford
which are supposedly tops in the world regarding this disease.

You are amonng the kindest and most caring and giving people I know, so I ask
if you could please pray very hard for him, regardless of what faith or
religious beleifs you share. This kind, gentle and heroic man needs all the
positive prayer he can get at this point. Please also pass this message onto
anyone else you are in touch with.

As you know, I have committed much of my life the past 4 years (and over
$11,000 out of my own pocket for expenses) to raise funds for AIDS support
and research.   In 2003, I will do my best to expand my riding and fun
draising to include lukemia support and research, in honor (and hopefully NOT
memorium) of Eric.

I hope that we both can count on your support during this difficult time.

Thank you and warmest regards, my friends,

Robert
