Again, It's short notice, but if anyone wnat's another option in the south
bay, a couple of us are riding tomorrow.
Start Time: Meet at 8:00 am, leave at 8:15 am
Meeting place: The Safeway Parking lot on Stevens Creek Blvd at Lawrence
Expressway/280, next to Starbucks
City: San Jose
Rain policy: Rain Cancels
Pace: A-B
Terrain: 3
Miles: Approx. 70 (with options for shorter/longer routes)
Description: Ride through the rolling green hills of the lower Penninsula.
We will first ride up to Woodside, enjoying the backroads back down to Los
Gatos. This is mostly rolling hills with a few good climbs. No one gets
left behind. Bring Lunch money, plenty of water and lots of energy. We
will have a late lunch in Los Gatos (but will have an earlier snack/breakfast
stop in Woodside.)
This is not an "official" training ride, even though a safety speech will be
given and all AIDS Ride rules will apply.
RSVP/Contact: Robert Benscoter, aidsri-@aol.com, 408-248-8263 (in case
of possible rain, call before 7:30 am to confirm if the ride is cancelled)
Robert
