| Purpose: | This unmoderated list, open to anyone, is for all those cyclists who take an interest in San Francisco's Critical Mass bicycle events. The purpose of the list is to have a civil discussion about all areas (e.g. route and destination planning, tactics, publicity and outreach, logistical aspects, underlying philosophical motivations and purpose of these rides, goals, desires, complaints, suggestions, personal accounts of positive experiences or impressions at past events, reports of unnecessary or excessive police harassment, etc.) associated with these mass bike rides. Participants are requested to refrain from indulging in ad hominem attacks; however, persons may certainly be politely mentioned by name in such cases where particular points of view that they have previously espoused are being referred to. |
