It does not at present. Plans are afoot that it will certainly appear on
Floodgate at some point. I had previously planned to do this for the next
generation of Shotest, but I could consider putting a Shotest-CSA2008 up
there. Shogi Club 24 is one I have considered yet.

Continuing with the question how strong is Shotest. Does it play on any
game servers? Does Shotest play on Shogi Club 24 or on the Floodgate
server?

You valid point is taken. The web does not provide this information. We

going to add a table of features go the web.

To answer immediately:

How strong is it and how adjustable is it?
On actual play strength, in long-term testing, it scores 50% against
K-Shogi
2007, if that helps. This version does not have an official rating. It
provides 30 play levels.

 Handicaps?
Yes

 Time limits?
yes

Will it get add-ons to match the Xbox feature set?
The next version, which you will be able to upgrade to (at low cost),
will
track the Xbox feature sets.
However its on-line play future is not yet determined (it might link to
the
Xbox on-line)

Will owners get regular upgrades for a period?
You will get any fixes. However plan A is to have one second version,
then
some scheme for
incremental updates for tutors and puzzles.

 Is it 2D as well?

You can tilt to get a 2D view, but you will be seeing the 3D set, but
from
above

I hope that helps
