A Burning Question  Lanse
 Mar 17, 2002 13:31 PST

Deanna had left the Lich's dwelling the first moment she could. The lack of fire just wouldn't suit her after she'd lost so much energy. And so, it was with travel that the Fire Witch finally made her way back to her own room in the thieves' guild.
She relaxed quietly... sitting in the fireplace as she watched the nearby crib. She had made a hard decision in days past. Lately she had walked the edge. Even before she had been captured, stripped, and forced to serve the lich, she was debating which 'side' to work for.
Deanna didn't want power. Hell, she wasn't even sure she wanted the money anymore. She just wanted the happiness she used to have. But since it didn't seem she'd get that... she supposed her old job was the next best option.
But that still left her with a question. Her child. Aleannessa. Deanna's life growing up had been hard.. and having tasted the happiness of wonderful family, did she really want her child to grow up in this kind of world?
She sighed quietly... slipping on the 'bracelet' the Lich had given her as she pondered the matter.

-Deanna

"And God said: 'Let there be Lamers!', and suddenly Grammar died, and The Plot was trampled underfoot by Munchkin Stampedes."
-Verse 1, "The Gospel of Lame"
