| Purpose: |
This list is for teachers and others interested in the advanced level Science in Society course that has been developed by the Nuffield Curriculum Centre, the University of York Science Education Group, and AQA. The list exists to allow sharing of course ideas, question and response amongst teachers and others involved in delivery and assessment.
The examination specification is provided by AQA. The current version, along with specimen assessment materials can be downloaded from the AQA web site (www.aqa.org.uk).
Nuffield Curriculum Centre provides full teaching materials for free download and associated teacher support.
Harcourt-Heinemann are producing the associated course textbook.
Science in Society is a full A level development from AS Science for Public Understanding (www.scpub.org). |
