Gig, thanks, I wasn't looking forward to two weeks in the rain, rather have
two weeks in snow. We have had a wet summer here as well, but snow on the
ground now though it is a little above normal for temperatures. Last winter
was colder than normal, with lots of snow. Stay dry, Garry.

Garry;
I am coming down to Brownsville around Christmas, staying till 10th of
January, does it rain there all the time like it is raining in Houston?
Should I bring my rubber boots?
Garry.
It doesn't rain in the Brownsville area very often.... so, leave you rain
gear at home... it will probably warm, too... Houston, is another story.
What's happening now, in an hour or less, a very heavy rain will be crossing
the Houston area... there are strong winds involved... there will be a lot
more rain tomorrow... the weather forecasters have predicted a 100% chance
of rain, and that will be some heavy rain storms, I think... so I am
battening down the hatches right now...
