be careful if you ever swap tanks as ready filled tanks (i think one company was Rhino or something) and not filled all the way and have been sometimes found to be about 3/4 full (if that) - something i never knew or thought of before
I didn't think of that, either... my cousin, who owns two houses near me, terminated his Natural Gas, and has substituted, store bought propane, now. I think he switched over to Propane because of the $11.05 monthly 'Customer Charge' that had to be paid, along with the regular bill... so he switched to propane.... he told me that there is a propane filling store near my house, and the cost of a refill is about $10 for a 20 pound, tank.
Recently, after he saw my PV panels, he acquired some panels of his own... he has always been technically inclined, and is on a similar path.... I have been meaning to go over to his house and see his Propane and PV setup.
I will be alert to short filled propane tanks if I exchange my old tank for a new, refurbished tank...
