I guess I was thinking more of having a picture of anyone trying to break in
whether you're there or not, both for policing reasons and the psychological
factor of having a flash go off in your face; somehow it seems a more
effective deterrent that a surveillance camera, not to mention a
better-quality picture. But I agree, it wouldn't be much good for real-time
surveillance.

instead that will give you real time informatiion

I just came across a wildlife motion-sensor camera (triggered by heat &
movement, with a flash) that I thought might be useful as a security camera
for you. It is in the National Geographic paper catalog but I assume also
online at their shopping site, www.shopNG.org <http://www.shopng.org/> .
