When I cleaned my battery terminals a week ago, this made a big difference on power input as well as power output to my inverter.
The new sensor porchlight runs all the time off of the inverter, and I watch TV until 11 pm every night, too... the cleaned battery terminals have given me some good inverter power for this nightly operation... I will soon add two more panels and that should take everything off grid except the microwave oven, toaster, and fridge...
I have a secondary PV system, which runs off of one 90 watt PV panel and one, 100 AH, 12 volt, AGM battery, plus a small charge controller, that runs the trailer's interior lights, and the On Demand water pump. Those two loads on the secodary sytem have run good for many months now. The central, two TV set output, wall mounted RF amplifer will be added to the secondary circuit soon, I think. The RF amplifer pulls such a small, load, that I usually don't count it with other load calculations...
I can't wait until I get a good solar powered fridge to replace my in-effecient GE office fridge that I use now... and if a solar fridge runs good off of a third, one PV panel and one battery circuit, then I would only have the toaster and microwave oven left on grid power.
