Hi -

All healthy kids and adults form bonds throughout their lives. By choice or chance, some key bonds break, causing losses. Survivors of low-nurturance childhoods often may get stuck in the healing process of grieving their losses. If so, this and related psychologcal wounds promote significant personal health and relationship problems.

To raise your awareness of these dynamics and sense whether blocked grief may trouble your family, study and discuss these:

options for freeing blocked grief - http://sfhelp.org/05/thaw.htm

"Project 5" in the nonprofit Stepfamily nFormation Web site focuses on helping each other practice healthy grief.

Your feedback on these resources and on the site is always welcome!
