Hi - As you merge and stabilize your several biofamilies over many years, your adults and kids will experience many conflicts over membership (inclusion), names, values and styles, physical assets, and loyalties. All of these promote stressful "relationship triangles" (true in any family or other group). Your stepfamily adults need to learn what these are, why they're stressful, how to avoid them, and what to do about them - and then model and teach your kids these things.
