Managing major stepfamily changes effectively  pilgr-@aol.com

BOO! (Happy October). As stepfamilies evolve by merging several multi-generational biofamilies over many years, all adults and kids are confronted by many concurrent changes in up to 16 aspects of their homes and families (!) Adults can proactively minimize change-related conflicts and stress by intentionally (a) planning and (b) pacing these changes, instead of reacting to them. See and discuss these articles for perspective and useful options:

Your feedback on the Stepfamily inFormation site and these articles is always appreciated. Have a safe, enjoyable month and step-Halloween, if you observe that ancient event...

PS - if you're confused about the middle east situation and concerned about "terrorism," I recommend the recent eye-opening book "Journey of the Jihadist," by Lebanese PhD Fawaz Gerges. If you're concerned about the ecological world your descendent will experience, I also recommend reading "Collapse," by Pulitzer-winner Jared Diamond.
