Hi - Do you agree that your (step)family exists to nurture (fill the needs of) your adults and kids? To nurture effectively, co-parents (stepparents and bioparents) need a clear understanding of what each dependent child needs. Typical kids of parental divorce (or death) and re/marriage have up to four sets of concurrent developmental and family adjustment needs requiring patient, informed adult help to fill.
