Break the Cycle! Article on Effective Communication with Minor Kids  Peter Gerlach
 Jun 12, 2008 07:30 PDT

Hi - Are there minor children in your life? If so, do you find it challenging to communicate effectively with them at times? Are you teaching them how to communicate "well"?

Try saying your definition of "effective communication" out loud now. On a scale of one (very low) to ten (always very high) how would you rate your communication effectiveness with young people in important situations - specially in conflicts? How effective were the adults who raised you?

To help you answer these questions, see this new 5-page article on?communicating effectively with pre-teens and teens - http://sfhelp.org/02/cx-kids.htm

Your feedback on the article and its nonprofit Web site is always welcome!

I hope the young summer is to your liking so far, and that this season of your life is interesting and healthy.

Namaste, friends - Pete?
