Jonathan,
The practical difference between the Ecomobile and Acabion is that the Acabion is in regular production and has been for several years. With the Acabion you're buying a prototype, probably at a higher price.
The Acabion's back end is kinda messy and flashy, but they've done the right thing by making the front as streamlined as possible before giving alot of attention to the back. Improving the tail closure doesn't do a lot of good until after everything else is tidied up.
Hope things are well on your side of the pond. Will you be racing or traveling over here again in the near future?
Nick

Hi Nick,
Yes, I had a look around after I sent my email. Glad to see the Ecomobile still exists. It's a really good vehicle, one that can be used every day instead of a car.
I tried to download the jpg, but the link clearly has a sense of humour and never finished. I'll have another go. I suppose the good thing about the 'New Streamlined Motorcycle' is that some people might might choose it over more harmful vehicles. It looks more 'sexy' than the Ecomobile. It's probably faster, which isn't much use for a non-racing machine. It may or may not be more aero. The back end looks more stylistic than aerodynamic.
Brgds - Jonathan
