Hi Nick,
The back end aerodynamics are at least as important to do, and more
difficult to do compared to the front. This isn't really an issue with this
vehicle as it is way over powered. I guess I should just admit I don't like the
'flash'.
I won't be in the US this year. I finally got a decent job and I'm working
very hard. I hope to do a social visit to the worlds in Belgium.

My bike building activities have started moving. I have a full rideable mock
up of my hub centre steer low bike, which may lead to a later streamliner.
I'm about to convert the mechanical rig for Oscar 3 into a rolling rig. Now I
have to face making lots of carbon/honeycombe chassis components.

I have some people talking to me about my handcycle projects. The existing
bikes are very small. It is possible that a woman, in one of the existing
bikes, with a fairing, can blow the records away. I know Dame Tanni. She just
retired from wheelchair racing. I have not talked to her yet. I have to finish
some of my other projects before I start more.

I will have some involvement in the Worlds at Bentwater, Suffolk in 2008. I
will be setting up the sprints. We have not surveyed yet, but it appears the
course has potential for low level records, particularly for arm power. We are
looking at doing sprints for a reasonably short period at dawn and dusk each
day to exploit the best wind conditions.

Brgds - Jonathan
