I think there must be something wrong with the izook list; some time ago I
sent a message there and never heard anything back. I didn't receive any
bounce error message, and I never got a copy of the message back from the
list either. You mentioned that you asked there, but I never saw the
message..
anyone?
as for the AC question, I don't know where the evaporator is located in
the sammi (never seen one with AC!). I'm trying to imagine where in the
heater box they might have stashed it, but I'm coming up blank.
Anyway, I guess you could swap all the parts (compressor, condensor,
dryer, everything except evaporator) from another vehicle to see if that
doesn't give you increased cooling. Maybe it'd be worth it to go through
to clean out leaves from the system too, even though I think those only
affect the heater function.

We all know the factory AC is less than perfect. My question : Is there
some other AC that can be adapted to the Sammi set up? Or even an under
the dash type arrangement? I spend way too much time in South Texas,
often driving 100 miles a day as a visiting nurse. I would LOVE to be
able to cool off a bit. My mechanic says the unit I have is doing its'
part. He said "maybe" a new dryer. Anyway, let me know it you have any
solutions . Thanks!
