Hey guys, don't sleep on (Magnus) Tingsek.  His Restless Soul project was pretty good.  "Coming Back to You," "Goodbye," and "Stick to You" are three of my favorites right now.  I'm still hoping that he and Lady E will collab. some day.

It is old by now, but if you haven't checked out Zap Mama's latest (ReCreation) do so.  I would also love to hear her collab. with Esthero (hahaha).

It is a different genre, but I'm still holding out a candle for a new
release from Envy on the Coast.  Google searches do not produce much
information.  :(

I've also been listening to a lot of old Daft Punk stuff for no apparent reason.

The Noisettes new CD is also somewhat out of place, but still a fascinating body of work.

And finally (ducks and covers) I'm really enjoying the music from Glee.  Make fun of me all you want- those kids are a trip!

Every now and then I feel the need to check and see if the list is still alive since no one seems to use it any more. I used to love getting emails from all of you characters (I say that lovingly.)  Besides Esthero and her brother's presence, I liked everyone's music recommendations.  While I impatiently wait for Esthero's and D'Angelo's and Sade's next release, I thought I'd ask what everyone else is doing to cope with her absence, (besides listening to Half A World Away for the buhzillionth time.)  I doubt this will start any sort of rebirth of the list but here's a snapshot of what I've been listening to over the last several months:

Electric Wire Hustle.  These guys kind of fill the Lewis Taylor void (since he decided to retire). From New Zealand.
