Loving the new Decemberists album, and discovered the awesome music of Shara Worden in listening to it (My Brightest Diamond)
Propagandhi has an excellent new album.
Neko Case' latest is awesome.
Santogold, Rye Rye and M.I.A. get lots of time on my stereo, so do the Yeah Yeah Yeahs
and hell yes to Girl Talk too

yes - but have you heard Sia's new duet
cover with Peter Jöback of Chris Isaak's
"Wicked Game"? It's on his new album "East Side
Stories"

you tube still vid of the song here:

I know...no Sia or Sophie but the new direction is interesting
and I like that Henry is now singing. I must admit...It did take a while
to sink in!

I was just about to warn everyone about the new Zero 7 so
they didn't curl up in a ball and cry like I did. The fantastic
vocals of Sia and Sophie I just sadly missed. Am I not giving it a
      chance?

Every now and then I feel the need to check and see if the
list is still alive since no one seems to use it any more. I used to
love getting emails from all of you characters (I say that
lovingly.) Besides Esthero and her brother's presence, I liked
everyone's music recommendations. While I impatiently wait for
        Esthero's and D'Angelo's and Sade's next release, I thought I'd ask what
everyone else is doing to cope with her absence, (besides listening to
Half A World Away for the buhzillionth time.) I doubt this will
start any sort of rebirth of the list but here's a snapshot of what I've
been listening to over the last several months:

Electric Wire
Hustle. These guys kind of fill the Lewis Taylor void (since he
decided to retire). From New Zealand.
