last year I let my daughter paint our pumpkin and then took it outside
and sprayed it with polyurithane sealant. Also did the same with a
beautiful gourd. They lasted a very very long time and looked lovely, no
messy pumpkin guts *grins*.
Lotsa stencils (which is what we used) out there to choose from

The teens want to carve pumpkins for Halloween. I realize they make
special non sharp carving knives for children. Has anyone done this
before? What about clean up?
Thanks
