You could do a read-a-thon. Teens can get pledges for time spent reading. Car washing is another idea. Or a used book sale. My new book, "Teen-Centered Library Service: Putting Youth Participation into Practice," is coming out in December, which includes more ideas for fundraising with TAGs. I also include a section on grants you can get from youth organizations to fund activities by and for teens.
You might also ask a local adult group such as the Lions Club or Soroptimists (I am assuming your library Friends are not able to provide funding?) if they would be willing to provide a grant to fund your teen group's activities. You would probably need to do a proposal and then go and do a little presentation with the teens at a meeting for the group.
Hope that helps!

Hello -
Unfortunately, our Library wasn't able to secure funding for our Teen Advisory Group and I'm trying to think of fun ways to fundraise. Do any of you have ideas on items the Teens could make and sell to raise money? The start-up supplies would have to be fairly inexpensive.
THANKS AND COMPILE A LIST!
