2009 Tree Shaker 12 & 6 Hour Mountain Bike Challenge

Anne Springs Close Greenway
Ft Mill, SC

The event will be held at Anne Springs Close Greenway mountain bike
trails. The course distance is roughly nine miles of awesome singletrack
at the 2300 acre park. START/FINISH will be located at the Field Trial
Barn on Springs Parkway
If you haven't ever raced an endurance mountain bike race, its time to
find a teammate or give it a shot solo and check out the 2009 Tree
Shaker 12 or 6 Hour Mountain Bike Challenge. We have solo or duo
categories in the 6 hour race and we have solo, duo or three person
teams in the 12 hour race. Endurance mountain bike racing is one of the
most demanding disciplines around yet the event is super fun as it
creates a festival type atmosphere at the event. If you have a mountain
bike, there's a category for you. If you don't have a mountain bike, you
can always rent one from our sponsor SouthPark Cycles.
Tree Shaker Support
Will have neutral pit area stocked full of Clif Bar products, Clif Shot
electrolyte drink mix and FUZE beverages. We will also have PB & J's,
crackers, cookies and other goodies to keep you racing long and fast. We
will also have the BikeSource crew there providing mechanical support
for the event.
We will also have a local Ft Mill, SC Girl Scout Troop there with all
kinds of baked breakfast goodies.
Awards and Prizes
We will be giving prizes and Tree Shaker Plate's to the top three
finishers in each category. The plate is a really sweet engraved plate
with the Tree Shaker logo. An awesome additional to any trophy case!

Three Person Masters* (120+ years minimum)

Volunteers: We are in need of event volunteers. We need help with
registration and set up in the morning and with course marshals
throughout the day. Course marshals basically just ride the course and
assist any race participants in need. Email Neal at
