I am developing an online academic ESL course at my institution.
However, because I am new to this endeavor, I would like to know if
there is anyone out there who has had experience with developing such a
course or courses, especially a grammar and/or a writing course, or who
knows if there are any such course developed by others. In particular, I
am interested in the efficacy of an online course and in motivating
students taking the course to participate in a meaningful way and
successfully complete the course. I am also interested in developing
appropriate grading methods. Any tips will be greatly appreciated.
