This past weekend, I volunteered for the UC Berkeley mountain bike race at Lake Sonoma. It was
coordinated with the help of the Billy Cross folks (whose website is currently N/A), and
everything was fairly ideal - until it rained. It was fairly similar to the GGG trail conditions
this year, with just the slightest rain. Slippery, then clay-like, then gummy, then slippery
again. I know that Bogg's is fairly close to Lake Sonoma, so any possible rain might cost you a
drivetrain.
