Time Tip-No Time?

NO TIME?
When someone says to me, "I didn't have time to (read my book, help my
son, rake the grass....etc., etc.)", I always ask:
Did you brush your teeth today?
Did you eat today?
Did you get dressed today?
To say,"I didn't have time to (whatever)" would only be true if it was
universally true. And it's an excuse to make you a victim of something
beyond your control.
It is more accurate to say instead, "I chose not to spend the time to
(read my book, help my son, rake the grass....etc.)
And we all have a right to choose.
