TODAY'S TIP(s): Anything Can Happen Department
Either, Or, And, Else Both & Boards
In response to all the tips about having the spouse's name included on
titles and official papers, too -- make sure you have "OR" between the
names and NOT "and", or else BOTH will have to sign the transfers.
ex: John Doe "or" Mary Doe, is much better than John Doe and Mary Doe.
I was told this at the automobile title office once. That way if one
dies, the other has full authority to sell, and no need to go through
the inheritance issues, etc., etc., etc.

Consider using colored cutting boards in the kitchen. Each color is used
for different types of foodstuffs. For instance green for veggies. Red
for beef. White for chicken. That way you always know what's been cut on
the board before cutting something else. I recommend the plastic roll-up
varieties. They are safe, cheap and so easy to use. They are flexible so
you can fold it and slide the food into bowl, pot, etc. Remember, if you
make mistakes at the beginning (chopping veggies and chicken on the same
board) everything is contaminated from that point on.

Tip says: great idea. I haven't tried those flexi-cutting boards yet.
{{{MR. GREEN THINGS)))
I use white vinegar to kill un-wanted weeds... does it generally in one
or two applications.. Pour directly on plant in the morning. Next day
either all brown or most of the way. Great on dandelions, unless you
make tea from them. A gallon of vinegar is under $2.

Tim says: since my lost email blunder, wherein I launched thousands of
recent incoming tips into the ozone, I am very short GREEN tips.

{{{ TODAY'S GRIPE }}}
One of my gripes is hearing people who actually live in Illinois
mispronounce the name of their state. It is usually newscasters who
pronounce Illinois as Ellinoi. Then there are the out-of-staters who
pronounce it Ellinoise. I have to grit my teeth to keep from screaming.

Tim says: ill, "ill" -- as is I'm ill today. Everyone knows it's
"ill-a-noise", right?

Tim says: maintaining our web sites and putting together quality Ezines
every day takes time, effort, and expense. If you enjoy receiving Recipe

donation by sending a check made payable to RECIPE DU JOUR for any
amount to:

It's always a great feeling to meet our du Jour expenses through
donations rather than our own pockets. Thanks for your help.

TODAY’S GRIN:
A minister was completing a Temperance sermon. With great emphasis he
said, "If I had all the beer in the world, I'd take it and pour it into
the river."
With even greater emphasis he said, "And if I had all the WINE in the
world, I'd take it and pour it into the river."
And then finally, shaking his fist in the air, he said, "And if I had
all the whiskey in the world, I'd take it and pour IT into the river,
too!"
Sermon complete, he sat down.
The song leader stood very cautiously and announced, "And for our
closing song, today, let us sing Hymn #365, "Shall We Gather at the
River."
