If you didn't know, along with serving as president of TTT, I'm also a
meteorologist (by degree from NC State). Yes, I've also heard every joke
in the book and how bad "we" are. If you only knew the complexities of
the atmosphere you would cut us a break every now and then ;). Anyway,
in the past, I provided a forecast leading up to the White Lake 1/2 for
TTT. I followed this by forecasting for several of Bill Scott's Set Up
races in 2006. I held out last year due to many conflicts, including the
birth of son.
I'm back!!!
I've created an archaic web site www.weathertheevent.com which gives an
overview of the upcoming weekend weather. My plan is to create forecasts
for various outdoor activities throughout the year, most of which are
held on weekends. You will see from weathertheevent.com you can even
request a specific forecast for your own race or whatever. I even have a
blog (linked from the website).
I like feedback, so check out the site and/or blog and let me know what
you think.
