--------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Welcome back to TriDU (check out www.tridu.com for the full news and features). Please don't be afraid to pass this email on to your entire 'group', be that a tri club, training group or just the mates who are interested in multisport.

An interesting week, with more news from around the globe and features near and far... TriDU has been following the developments surrounding the tragic race in Ironman Utah, however for exacting coverage of that race and the aftermath, check out Rob Docherty's international site at www.xtri.com or tune in to the archived coverage at www.ironmanlive.com

Closer to home, Ironman Korea has announced it will not close entries until July 25th for the August 25th race in the new venue of Sokcho, Korea. Locally, the two big up coming races are the Rydges Capricorn Half Ironman Triathlon at Yeppoon in Central Queensland on August 18th, a qualifying race for Ironman Australia 2003.

Full details and on-line entry at www.capricornhalf.com while the City of Cairns Half Ironman race is now set down for September 1st and with full details at www.ironmantri.com

For the only full calendar of multisport events in Australia, visit www.mynextevents.com.au and / or check out the state association web sites as draft calendars are now beginning to appear for the new year. You can start at www.triathlon.org.au and follow the state links from there..
